A superb convertible with three power levels
First of all, the C-Class Cabriolet offers three engines. The C 300 4MATIC is powered by a turbocharged four-cylinder that develops 255 horsepower and 273 lb-ft of torque. It can go from 0 to 100 km/h in 6.4 seconds, thanks in part to a 9G-TRONIC transmission with steering wheel-mounted paddle shifters.
Then there are the two AMG high-performance models. The first, the C 43, offers 385 horsepower and 383 lb-ft of torque thanks to an AMG-prepared 3.0-litre twin-turbo V6 engine. The C 63 S model is the ultimate luxury convertible with its hand-built AMG 4.0-litre twin-turbo V8 engine. The performance level is unprecedented, with 503 horsepower and 516 lb-ft of torque. The C 63 S variant can go from 0-100 km/h in as little as 4.1 seconds.
Both AMG models feature a 9-speed AMG SPEEDSHIFT multi-clutch transmission.
An interior suitable for open-air driving, rain or shine
The interior of the C-Class Cabriolet combines luxury and technology. In as little as 20 seconds, the acoustic soft top, available in four colours, is stowed away and opens up the interior to the outside world at the touch of a button.
Two steering wheel-mounted keypads provide access to the various functions. On the C 300, a 7-inch centre screen is standard and an optional 10.25-inch screen is available. Apple CarPlay and Android Auto and COMAND Navigation with Voice Command are standard.
For colder or windy days, the AIRSCARF system acts as a warm draught to warm the neck. The AIRCAP windscreen reduces drafts and heated front seats keep the driver and passenger warm.
