Mercedes-AMG has once again upped the bar in terms of performance with the refreshed 2021 Mercedes-AMG E 63 S 4Matic+ unveiled in June. The new performance sedan remains one of the most powerful vehicles you can buy today, and one of the few cars with room for five that can reach 100 km/h in under 3.5 seconds.
The 2021 Mercedes-AMG E 63 S 4Matic+ features more technology than ever before. It starts with the new MBUX infotainment system added to the new E 63 S within two 12.3-inch touchscreens that add a lot of luxury and elegance to the interior. The 2021 Mercedes-AMG E 63 S 4Matic+ provides better interaction between the driver and the car thanks to the MBUX system which includes advanced voice controls and artificial intelligence to adapt to the driver’s preference. There’s also a new steering wheel that delivers more commands and haptic feedback.
Powering the new 2021 Mercedes-AMG E 63 S 4Matic+ is a monstruous 4.0-litre twin-turbo V8 with 603 horsepower and 627 pound-feet of torque. This engine is paired with a 9-speed dual-clutch gearbox that sends power to all four wheels, but there’s also a new drift mode that sends all the power exclusively to the rear wheels for maximum fun.
