2023 Mercedes-Benz GLE: even more relevant in 2023
September 27 2022,
When imagining themselves behind the wheel of a luxury SUV, many buyers see themselves at the controls of a Mercedes-Benz product. That's only natural, because when you're looking for the best in luxury, you automatically turn to the oldest German brand.
And some models are must-haves, like the GLE, which dominates its class, the mid-size luxury SUV.
For 2023, the GLE benefits from improvements that make it even more relevant. Let's take a look at what makes this model so special.
Diversity
As always, the GLE will be offered with a variety of engines, from a 255-horsepower 4-cylinder to a 429-horsepower twin-turbocharged 6-cylinder AMG 53 version. And that's not to mention the two body styles, the regular and the coupe. There's a GLE for everyone and every need, and that's what makes this model so successful; it speaks to every buyer.
Edition 55 (limited)
In 2023, the AMG division celebrates its 55th anniversary. To celebrate, the company will offer an AMG 55 edition. Buyers can order the Edition 55 package with the GLE 53 and GLE 53 Coupe. The engine is the same as the 53 version (3-liter turbocharged 6-cylinder with 429 horsepower).
The package includes 22-inch forged wheels with "Edition 55" centers, specific decals above the rocker panels, and the AMG Night Package that adds glossy black exterior accents, among others. Dark tinted glass behind the B-pillar and black chrome exhaust tips add a final touch to the design.
Inside, the Edition 55 treatment translates to black leather upholstery and red accents, an AMG Performance steering wheel with "Edition 55" lettering, two-tone floor mats and illuminated door sill plates, among other things.
As for the rest, the GLE still offers the same quality of construction, the same hyper-luxurious interior environment, and one of the best multimedia systems in the industry with the MBUX (Mercedes-Benz User Experience) approach.
