Here is the New 2017 Mercedes-Benz SLC
December 30 2015,
It won’t be called SLK anymore. In fact, it doesn’t look like an SLK either. It’s the brand new SLC, and it has just been unveiled by Mercedes-Benz. The SLK’s replacement is quite a bit sharper and quite a bit more refined than the roadster we know and love today, and should serve admirably as Mercedes-Benz’ new entry-level convertible.
The 2017 Mercedes-Benz SLC is All-New
First things first, the SLC is simply spectacular from a visual standpoint. With rounder headlights, a new interior and sharper details all over the body, the 2017 Mercedes-Benz SLC looks quite a bit more refined and share many similarities with the recently introduced Mercedes-Benz SL.
There will be two versions of the SLC in North America. The first, the SLC 300, features a four-cylinder, 2.0-liter engine that comes directly from the Mercedes-Benz C-Class. Featuring 241 horsepower and 273 lb-ft of torque, the SLC 300 should be plenty capable. That said, the SLC43 AMG will feature a 3.0-liter V6 that offers 362 horsepower and manages to reach 100 km/h in only 4.7 seconds. Both engines are paired with a nine-speed automatic transmission.
Expect a host of technological improvements in the SLC, including a wide range of active safety systems and connectivity systems as well.
