Mercedes-AMG and Cigarette Racing Partner Up to Present the G 63 Cigarette Edition

High-end and powerful SUVs go hand in hand with exclusive, wave-defying boats. That’s why Mercedes-AMG partnered once more with Cigarette Racing to unveil the Tirranna AMG Edition. This off-shore marvel is the 12th special edition boat resulting from the strategic collaboration. By the same occasion, both renowned players in their respective fields unveiled the Mercedes-AMG G 63 Cigarette Edition, which was born at the AMG Performance Studio in Affalterbach following the same design principles as the boat.
An AMG-inspired 59’ Tirranna Boat
The Cigarette Racing Team 59’ Tirranna AMG Edition is powered by six supercharged 4.6-liter V8 Mercury Racing 450R outboard engines. Each of these powerplants develop 450 horsepower. When working together, they can generate up to 2,700 horsepower that can propel the boat to speeds of up to 130 km/h on sea, even with 26 people on board
The Mercedes-AMG G 63 Cigarette Edition
On the road, the partnership resulted in a new addition to the Mercedes-AMG family; the one of a kind Mercedes-AMG G 63 Cigarette Edition. Making its debut at the Miami International Boat Show, it is powered by a 585 hp 4.0-litre V8 biturbo engine and is equipped with AMG RIDE CONTROL suspension that can adjust the damping at each wheel depending on the driving conditions. It was engineered at the AMG Performance Studio in Affalterbach in order to reflect the multiple collaborations between the German manufacturer and Cigarette Racing.
For instance, the new 22” inch Mercedes-AMG forged wheels are highlighted with gold accents. Inside, macchiato beige and dark blue two-tone exclusive nappa leather upholstery fill the cabin. The AMG performance steering wheel in carbon fiber with dark blue nappa leather resembles the interior of the boat.
