Mercedes-Benz Canada Unveils Pricing for All-New GLC 300 4MATIC SUV

Mercedes-Benz Canada has announced the pricing and availability details for its new GLC 300 4MATIC SUV. The vehicle will be accessible in Canadian dealerships from June 2023, carrying a Manufacturer's Suggested Retail Price (MSRP) of $58,900.
The GLC 300 4MATIC SUV will boast a vast array of enhanced standard equipment, creating a highly attractive vehicle offering for customers from the get-go. The new GLC is designed to underline its dynamism with unique proportions, dramatic surfaces, and precisely moulded edges. Its increased length and boosted trunk space emphasize its more dynamic and powerful appearance.
This model will feature the latest generation of the Mercedes-Benz User Experience (MBUX) infotainment system, marking a significant advancement in vehicle digital and intelligent technology. The GLC 300 4MATIC Coupe version will be made available in winter 2023.
The new GLC's elevated standards are showcased in every detail. Its standard equipment, which includes large displays, smartphone integration, wireless charging, and heated front seats, has been significantly upgraded based on Mercedes-Benz's luxury strategy. The functional features are now bundled into equipment packages, simplifying the selection process for customers. Design options such as paint finish, upholstery, trim, and wheels are still available for individual customization.
The GLC 300 4MATIC SUV is designed for enhanced practicality with key dimensions emphasizing its dynamic appearance. Its length of 4716 mm and increased track widths at the front and rear accentuate its powerful aesthetic. The luggage capacity has been significantly expanded to 620 litres, a 70-litre increase from the preceding model.
Mercedes-Benz has improved the vehicle's aerodynamics, now with a drag coefficient (Cd) of 0.29. This upgrade marks a significant improvement from its predecessor's Cd of 0.31. In terms of engine configurations, the new GLC will only be available as a mild hybrid with 48-volt technology and an integrated starter-generator.
The GLC 300 4MATIC SUV is also equipped for off-road driving, with features such as an off-road driving mode and Downhill Speed Regulation (DSR). With a 360-degree camera, the GLC offers a "transparent engine hood" in off-road mode, allowing drivers to detect obstacles such as large stones or deep potholes early on.
