Mercedes-Benz GLB or GLC?
November 21 2022,
When it comes to choosing an SUV for your family, the choice is not always easy, because there are always two or three models that meet your needs. So how do you decide? By examining our needs in a little more detail.
For example, if you're deciding between the Mercedes-Benz GLB or the GLC, you should know that you're looking at two vehicles in two different categories. This does not mean that one is superior to the other, only different. So, let's take a look at these differences so that you can identify which model is right for you.
The Size
If you're more comfortable with a larger vehicle, the GLC is going to be more appealing to you, because it's simply bigger. It belongs to the compact SUV category, while the GLB is a sub-compact model. If you prefer the livelier, sportier ride of a smaller vehicle, the GLB may appeal to you more.
Seating
One of the two models offers a three-row interior configuration. No, it's not the GLC, contrary to what you might think. The GLB offers something rare in its class: a seven-seat configuration.
Cargo volume
If you were asked which of the two vehicles offers the most cargo space, you might be inclined to point to the GLC. That would be normal, but because of the GLB's very square shape, it offers more liters of cargo space behind the first row (1,755 liters versus 1,640 liters).
The power
Finally, if performance is your thing, you'll find something to suit you in both models, but the GLC has the most powerful powertrain at 385 horsepower and 384 pound-feet of torque.
To get the best idea of which vehicle is right for you, there's only one thing left to do: come and try out both models at our dealership. We can then answer any other questions you may have at that time.
