Mercedes-Benz has its Best February on Record

There were 3,400 Mercedes-Benz and smart units sold in Canada last month, making it the best February in the history of the German automaker. Mercedes-Benz sold 759 units more last month than in February 2015, a gain of 28.7 percent.
So far this year, Mercedes-Benz is up 23.1 percent or 1,187 units compared to the first two months of 2015. Excluding the smart and Mercedes-Benz Vans lineup, there were 2,850 Mercedes-Benz passenger vehicles sold last month, including 434 Mercedes-AMG units.
Diesel-powered vehicles accounted for 68.9 % of all light trucks sold last month by Mercedes-Benz while almost all vehicles, 94.9 percent to be exact, were equipped with 4MATIC.
There were 1,546 passenger cars sold last month while light Mercedes-Benz trucks accounted for 1,304 units. Compared to 2015, these numbers account to an increase of 12 percent and 42.5 % respectively.
