New electric Mercedes-Benz G-Class will be able to do a tank turn
May 26 2022,
Mercedes-Benz has presented a video of the all-new Mercedes EQG electric SUV prototype doing a 360° spin on the spot. Commonly called a tank turn, this manoeuvre is made possible by the four electric motors that power the EQG, or if you will the new electric Mercedes-Benz G-Class.
Shown at last year's Munich auto show, the all-new Mercedes-Benz EQG features the bold and muscular design of the current G-Class, and it is expected that the new electric model will retain much of the DNA and unique personality of Mercedes-Benz's most well-known model. The G-Class is a legend in the automotive industry, and it is one of the most desirable models on the road today. It has one of the most impressive resale values ever seen on a modern car and it turns heads everywhere it goes. It is also one of the most capable and rugged off-road SUVs ever built despite its ultra-luxurious interior and driving dynamics.
We expect all of this and more from the upcoming electric G-Class. The new Mercedes-Benz EQG will also feature advanced technologies as shown here with the tank turn. This ability to turn on the spot is unheard of in the industry, and it is certainly one of the most desirable options in off-road driving. We cannot wait to see what else the new Mercedes-Benz EQG has in store for us when it arrives on the market later next year.
