Ogilvie Mercedes-Benz Sponsors 24th Annual Keon Fuller Golf Tournament
May 31 2016,
Held last Monday, May 30th, the 24th annual Fuller Keon Golf Tournament was once again a resounding success, and Mercedes-Benz Ottawa is proud to have been a part of it. This yearly charity golf tournament is hosted by Mark Fuller and was established to demonstrate the Fuller Family's appreciation for the care Dr. Wilbert Keon provided to the late Thomas Fuller. Over the years, it's become recognized as one of Ottawa's premier charity golf tournaments -- this year was no exception.
Held at the Loch March Golf and Country Club in Kanata, Ontario, the Fuller Keon Golf Tournament benefited the University of Ottawa Heart Institute Foundation. Golfers got the chance to enjoy one of Ontario’s most scenic golf courses while networking with business leaders from Ottawa – all while helping raise money for ground-breaking heart disease research.
This year’s event also boasted a silent auction, with many fantastic items generously donated by participants and benefactors, the proceeds of which were also donated to the Heart Institute Foundation.
The Fuller Keon Golf Tournament is just one of the many charitable events that the Mierins Automotive Group is proud to sponsor. As an active member of our community, we also participate in the Sporting Life 10K run which benefits the Children’s Hospital of Eastern Ontario, along with numerous other events during the year all across Eastern Ontario and beyond.
