The new Mercedes-AMG C63 might get a hybrid power

The upcoming Mercedes-AMG C63 based off of the new generation 2022 Mercedes-Benz C-Class should arrive on the market later this year. We already know that it will retain its aggressive performance, styling, and unwavering sportiness but the new C63 is expected to bring its remarkable power in a completely different way.
Indeed, the new C63 may swap its twin-turbo V8 powertrain for a new turbocharged four-cylinder powertrain paired with an electric motor that will deliver at least 442 hp according to Mercedes-AMG. In other words, the new C63 will have the same power and probably even more as the current C63 but with better efficiency and a larger power bandwidth. Although a twin-turbo V8 will always have its charms, no one can deny the effectiveness of a hybrid engine when it comes to performance.
The electric motor which sends power instantly can be used for quick off-the-line accelerations while the turbocharged four-cylinder engine can be used to offer performance at higher RPMs. We will have to wait to learn more about the upcoming Mercedes-AMG C63.
