2022 Mercedes-Benz GLE: better than ever

The reason there are so many luxury SUVs on the market today is because some pioneers paved the way for them. One of those pioneers is the GLE from Mercedes-Benz, which was first introduced in 1997 as the ML.
The current generation arrived in 2020. So it shows up in the same form in 2022, but no one will complain, because it's the best one yet. Above all, the number of configurations it comes in is truly impressive. Let's take a look at what this model offers for 2022.
Four powertrains
Most of the models on the market come with one or even two distinct powertrains. The GLE offers four. The 350 version offers a 2.0-liter turbocharged 4-cylinder engine (255 horsepower and 273 lb-ft of torque), while the 450 version comes alive with a 3.0-liter turbocharged 6-cylinder engine (362 horsepower and 369 lb-ft of torque), the AMG 53 model wakes up to the sound of a more powerful variant of the same engine (429 hp and 384 lb-ft of torque), while the AMG 63 S model responds to the music of a 4-liter twin-turbo V8 (603 hp and 627 lb-ft of torque). A nine-speed automatic transmission is present throughout.
Can we ask for more?
The interior
In addition to its successful and attractive exterior styling, the GLE experience is lived inside where all our senses are stimulated. It starts with the eyes, which are amazed when they look at the dashboard. It continues with our hands, which delight in the discovery of all the surfaces that make up the cocoon; the quality is palpable everywhere. It then concludes with our hearing, which is seduced when we let the audio system speak.
And that's without mentioning the state-of-the-art technology that allows us to connect our devices to the vehicle. All of these features will be retained for 2022.
Regular or coupe style?
The four powertrains mentioned earlier correspond to the four versions offered [350, 450, AMG 53 and AMG 63 S]. With each of them, you can enjoy the regular, classic model. With the last two, which are much sportier, you can select the SUV coupe model, a body design that adds a lot of flair.
And for 2022, the 450 version also comes with the AMG [aesthetic] treatment and the coupe dress; an interesting addition.
It's all about needs and expectations, of course, and that's why Mercedes-Benz gives you so many choices.
