Mercedes-AMG Unveils GT 63 PRO 4MATIC+: Enhanced Performance for Track and Road

Mercedes-AMG has introduced the latest addition to its GT lineup, the GT 63 PRO 4MATIC+, at the Goodwood Festival of Speed. Set to arrive in dealerships in 2025, this new model offers improved agility and performance for both racetrack and daily driving scenarios.
Powertrain Enhancements
The GT 63 PRO 4MATIC+ features a handcrafted AMG 4.0L V8 biturbo engine, now producing 603 horsepower—an increase of 26 hp over the previous model. Torque has also been boosted to 627 lb-ft, a 37 lb-ft improvement. These enhancements result in impressive acceleration, with the vehicle sprinting from 0 to 200 km/h in 10.9 seconds and reaching a top speed of 317 km/h.
Advanced Cooling and Aerodynamics
Mercedes-AMG has significantly upgraded the cooling system, with new radiators positioned in the front wheel arches and top-mounted radiators for the differentials and transfer case. The aerodynamics have also been refined, featuring a unique front fascia with carbon fibre air deflectors and a fixed rear wing. These changes reduce front axle lift by approximately 30 kg and increase rear axle downforce by about 15 kg.
High-Performance Components
The GT 63 PRO 4MATIC+ comes standard with an AMG carbon ceramic high-performance brake system, featuring 16.5-inch brake discs—the largest standard ceramic discs currently offered by Mercedes-AMG. The vehicle is equipped with 21-inch AMG Performance Forged Split Spoke Wheels in Himalaya Grey Matte, fitted with Michelin Pilot Sport 5 tires. Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 R extreme performance tires are available as a no-cost option.
Interior and Exterior Design
The exterior showcases the AMG Exterior Carbon Fibre Package, emphasizing the vehicle's dynamic character with carbon fibre elements on the front splitter, side sills, rear diffuser, and rear wing. Inside, the GT 63 PRO 4MATIC+ features AMG Performance seats with high lateral support and an AMG Performance steering wheel in Nappa leather and microfibre.
Advanced Technology for Daily Use
Responding to customer feedback, Mercedes-AMG has improved the daily usability of the GT 63 PRO 4MATIC+. The vehicle incorporates technologies such as AMG ACTIVE RIDE CONTROL suspension with active roll stabilization, active rear axle steering, and AMG Performance 4MATIC+ fully variable all-wheel drive. These features aim to enhance both performance and comfort in everyday driving situations.
