Mercedes-Benz A-Class vs Audi A3: striking differences

The Mercedes-Benz A-Class and Audi A3 operate in one of the most coveted segments in the industry, the luxury subcompact. For those who want to own a vehicle from a premium brand one day, the models offered in this segment represent an interesting entry point.
That's why they're important. Mercedes-Benz seems to have grasped this issue. At Audi, we're not so sure, because a look at the offer leaves us stunned.
Basically, the choice is at Mercedes-Benz, where you can opt for a traditional sedan, a hatchback or a 4-door, coupe-style model, the CLA. At Audi, there is only one approach, the sedan.
As for the powertrains, we must admit that the offer is complete in both models. However, the possible combinations are more interesting at Mercedes.
And to conclude with the variants, how can we not underline the fact that Audi no longer offers its entry-level model in a 5-door configuration? Of course, Mercedes-Benz offers its A-Class with a hatchback, which adds to the practicality of the vehicle. For those who are used to going on weekend adventures, it doesn't get much better than this.
Next, when it comes to driving, it's interesting to note that Mercedes-Benz has done its homework. In the past, we would have tended to give the comfort award to Mercedes and the sportiness award to Audi. Today, comfort is still with Mercedes-Benz, but sportiness has moved on. So, when it comes to driving pleasure, it is with the A-Class.
The model's design years are apparent (2019 for the A-Class, 2014 for the A3).
Finally, you only have to look on board to understand that we're at two totally different addresses here. While Audi suggests a quality but very conservative environment, Mercedes-Benz offers an immersive experience in terms of interactivity with its MBUX (Mercedes-Benz User Experience) multimedia system. At Audi, let's just say the system needs an update.
Then, just for your eyes, you get your money's worth at Mercedes. The presentation is lively, colorful, rich and very fashionable. This is not the case with the A3 whose interior design betrays its age.
