Mercedes-Benz Sets a New Record for Sales After Six Months
July 20 2016,
Mercedes-Benz Canada broke its half year sales record in June with a total of 24,087 units sold during the first six months of the year, an 8.2 percent increase compared to the first six months of 2015. This growth is largely explained by the popularity of the German automaker’s luxury light trucks which saw increases in sales of 17.6 %.
That said, the Mercedes-Benz B-Class and CLA also account for this growth. The new Mercedes-Benz C-Class Coupe also did exceptionally well with 174 units sold last month, an increase of 270.2 % compared to June 2015.
Mercedes-Benz pre-owned sales also kept the pace with 1,550 units delivered. Of these, 1,238 were Certified Pre-Owned.
“Thanks to the excellent work of our dealers, employees, and Mercedes-Benz Financial Services, Mercedes-Benz Canada has seen truly phenomenal results so far in 2016. Fulton, President and CEO of Mercedes-Benz Canada. “This fantastic, sustained monthly momentum bodes well for our performance for the remainder of the year as we prepare to launch exciting new models including the smart fortwo cabrio, C-Class and S-Class Cabriolets, and the SLC and SL roadsters.
