The Mercedes-Benz DYNAMIC SELECT system allows the owner to change the behavior of the Mercedes-Benz or Mercedes-AMG product he or she is driving with a turn of a knob or the push of a lever.
Specifically, the different modes of the DYNAMIC SELECT system allow the driver to adjust different mechanical settings that transform the vehicle's behavior. Each one modifies the responsiveness and sensitivity of the accelerator, the transmission (gear changes), the height and stiffness of the suspension, and the precision of the steering.

Comfort

ECO

Sport
This setting, as the name suggests, adds a sporty touch to the vehicle by improving throttle and steering response, especially. The engine speed is increased before shifting, which helps to maximize the high-speed torque of naturally-aspirated models. The suspension settings also become firmer, which helps the car take flat corners at higher speeds.
Sport+
Sport+ is essentially an even more powerful version of Sport mode. The suspension is even firmer, the steering even more precise and the exhaust note even more aggressive. On most Mercedes-Benz models, this will be the sportiest mode and the mode that allows you to get the very most out of your Mercedes-Benz model.
Race
The Race mode is found on high-performance AMG models and as the name suggests, it's intended for track use primarily. This mode minimizes the intervention of safety systems such as the stability control while setting the suspension, steering, engine and exhaust systems to the highest level of performance.
Individual
This option gives you the ability to create and save your own driving settings. If you prefer Sport settings for steering, but prefer the Comfort setting for the throttle and suspension, the choice is yours. As the name suggests, you can individually adjust the different settings to tailor the driving experience to your needs.
Other driving modes can also be offered depending on the nature and class of each model, such as Slippery, which provides extra grip on slippery surfaces by adjusting the power and suspension response, and Offroad for SUVs. The latter improves ground clearance on some models, as well as adjusting power distribution to make it easier to navigate difficult off-road courses.
