The E-Class's new electronic architecture is a paradigm shift, favouring software over hardware. Distinct computing functions now merge in a powerful central onboard computer, enhancing data stream speed and overall performance. When equipped with the optional front passenger screen, the large glass surface of the MBUX Superscreen extends to the central display, presenting simplified, colour-coded icons on the central and optional passenger displays.

The front passenger display allows dynamic content viewing without causing distraction to the driver. The camera-based system utilizes a filtering concept that blocks the driver's view of the passenger screen while the vehicle is in motion.
The E-Class boasts impressive aerodynamics, maintaining a Cd figure from 0.235 in line with its predecessor. Additionally, the optional Technology package features the all-round AIRMATIC air suspension system with ADS+ adjustable damping and rear-axle steering, ensuring both agility and stability.
Safety is paramount, with the ATTENTION ASSIST system capable of detecting signs of microsleep, alerting the driver and, if unheeded, initiating an emergency stop. Sustainability is a key factor in the new E-Class, with many components, including the foam of the seats, made partly from recyclable and renewable raw materials.
